The languages of new zeland

New Zealand's official languages

New Zealand is a very scenic place where it can be very enjoyable and give u many opportunities at different types of adventures, new zealand also only has three official languages them being : moari, english and new zealand sign language.

First we have moari

Moari is a very known language around new zealand as half the population is known as being part or full moari. Moari is very cultural and well known around many parts of New zealand. Many places around are named after moari. Back in 1840 a treaty was signed to officially legalise moari and every individual who spoke it, from there onwards they began to teach many adults and young children the language, culture and ways of their ancestors.Maoris official come from hawaiki which a brave leader by the name of kupe had came across new zealand when voyaging for his ancestors, he used his knowledge and the stars to guide him to where he had come across new zealand. Moari is a language I recommend learning as it is very interesting and will help learn about the history of New zealand.

Now onto the next main language we have english

English is a very well spoken language, easy and very known  around the world.

English is also America's main language, english can also mean a type of place such as britain. English is a very basic but interesting language.it can be very easy to learn and can help u communicate with others from different countries easier. Over half of the entire world is able to fluently speak english without mistakes. Some countries can only speak a bit of english but can still be helpful when in another country and trying to find somewhere or getting lost. Most social platforms are put in english so that it is easier for people to find things or switch the language to what they know.

And of course one of the most diverse languages is New zealand Sign language. It is something important so people that can't hear can communicate with others. New zealand sign language was created by Dorcas Mitchell who was one of The early British people to New Zealand who were deaf witch so when he came he was a teacher to teach people how to use New zealand Sign language to communicate and express feelings with other witch was a big part of deaf New zealanders lives because before the couldent communication/express themselves.

And that is the conclusion of the main languages of New zealand.
