What do I know about this disaster

- The pike river mine is on the west cost of new zeland
- built the mine in 2005 and started mining in November 2008
- there were 31 miners inside the mine when the explosion occurred
- 2 people escaped
- they sent robots into the mind to search for survivors
- jacaranda was going to unseal the mine
